The Sagebrush Residence began as a bare lot on the La Jolla hillside and became one of the most considered homes we've ever built. Every detail — from the structural framing to the final hardware selection — passed through a single integrated design-build lens.

Working closely with the clients over two years, we developed a home that lives as beautifully as it photographs. Open volumes, materiality that honors the coastal landscape, and spaces designed for how the family actually lives — not how homes are typically designed.
